Alfred Kaiser is a graduate of Pratt Institute and the University of Copenhagen
exchange program. In 1990 he worked for archaeologists restoring a roman
theater. There he gained an appreciation for the Roman's ability to combine
durable construction with design prudence and refined aesthetics. Prior to
establishing his practice in 1993 he served as project architect for a
distinguished small firm focused on residential work many in authentic
traditional styles. The projects ranged from non for profit housing to high end
restorations. The principal of the firm had worked for Marcel Breuer and with
Jane Jacobs. This focus on residential projects, commitment to quality as
well as professional integrity are the basis of Alfred Kaiser's practice.
