This family had outgrown there 50's ranch.
Having three energetic kids they wanted the
master bedroom suite to be an "oasis" of
quiet.  We pushed the suite a half level
above the existing first floor & under a new
garage. Skylights above illuminate the half
level stairway. We also cleaned up the
entrance projecting the roofs forward to
create balanced mass around the entrance.
